Fun Thing To Do This Weekend

See the New Display in the Reiman Gardens Conservatory,
"ISU Architectural Salvage"
Saturday and Sunday, January 28 and 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As part of the 2012 theme, "Some Assembly Required" the Conservatory has a new display called "ISU Architectural Salvage" which highlights keepsakes and treasures from Iowa State University’s rich, architectural past. Explore soft blooms, accented with treasures from several buildings and structures which have found a new home in the warmth of an amazing tropical Conservatory.

Each person who brings in one non-perishable food item will receive free admission to Reiman Gardens. The food will be donated to one of the local food shelters at the end of the weekend. One food item per person required to gain free admittance.

Treasure Your Maps

This is a great way to display some of your favorite places you have visited or salvage a worn vintage map.  I love how they look!
