Got Oil?
I found these cute little oil cans with chippy paint and all at a flea market this weekend. I especially love the one with the orange, blue and red paint combination.

Cheap Vintage Books
I picked up a few cheap vintage books that had rough covers and gave them a cool new look. This is new for me to do and I just loved ripping those covers off. Don't worry I used books that needed a new facelift!
I want to make some journals with the book covers. Another new project for me to try!
For now I displayed the books in a galvanized container.

New Jewelry Designs
I am so excited to showcase my jewelry designs at Junk Jubilee. I am working my little fingers as fast as I can to get ready for the show. Here are a few of my necklaces that I just created:
More to come! I better get back to work.

Weekend Finds
Here are a few of the items that I found this weekend.
I loved the these old pictures of people working with the vintage office items.
I loved the fabric pieces that they used to make this quilt. I plan on keeping this item because it is just the right size for my daughter's bed.

I'm A Winner

I was a winner of the Flea Market Style magazine giveaway. They were giving away items for the release of the Flea Market Style Spring issue.
I won two bags of Vintage Textile Soak from The Star Spangled Sampler & Co.
The soak gives antique linens a second life! It removes yellowing and/or brown spots on quilts, quilt tops, christening gowns, wedding dresses and antique linens of all kinds caused by years of contact with the oils in woods after being stored in cedar chests, linen closets or dresser drawers. I usually pass on linens that are stained but I will have to buy the next one that I like and use this soak.

Fun With Boots
This weather that we have been having in the Midwest is getting us excited for Spring. Yesterday I could have used some fun boots like these when I was cleaning up the yard.

Cleaning Office
Even "Betsy" my dress form was loaded with necklaces and a lampshade. She eventually will be displayed so I can admire her from afar while I work.
It was great to put up a few of my latest treasure finds so I can enjoy them.
This picture frame was one of the items that I found at the Porch Light Tag Sale but I also wanted to show you the dark red color in my office. I am looking forward to changing the color to a gray to update the look and lighten up the room. I picked a few of these colors from the Pottery Barn magazine. I love the following colors:
Benjamin Moore® Aura® Paint - Urban Nature
Benjamin Moore® Aura® Paint - Sandy Hook Gray
Benjamin Moore® Aura® Paint - Hazy Skies Don't get too excited because I am not going to paint until April but I will keep you updated in the progress of the office transformation!

Road Trip To Old Crow Farm
I just love the yellow chippy paint!
Can't you just envision small items in this cool storage box!
Porch Light's Tag Sale & Flea Market Finds
I found a few items such as an old mirror, cheap frame with an ugly removable picture, galvanized metal bucket and an old atlas.
I found another silver tray to to display my jewelry at shows. I just love the design of this tray. I also saw this vintage globe a couple a weeks at a Flea Market and when I went back this week I just had to have it.
